The women in your photos are stunning, but there’s no way I could look like that, right?

Absolutely, you can. The women on this site are aren’t professional models. They’re lawyers, mothers, teachers, and entrepreneurs. With masterful art direction, cinematic lighting, and thoughtful expression coaching, you’ll see yourself in a way you never imagined possible. This intimate portrait experience is designed to reveal your beauty, not manufacture it.

What if I feel awkward or nervous?

That’s completely normal. Most women do, at least at first. But this is a fully guided luxury portrait session, start to finish. I’ll direct you through every pose, every expression, every moment with care and clarity, so you’re never left wondering what to do or how you look.
The entire fine art portrait session is designed to make sure you feel confident in front of the camera.

Is this different from boudoir photography?

Yes. Traditional boudoir tends to be purely about performance and seduction. Think: arched backs, glossy lighting, heavy retouching. There’s nothing wrong with that, but that’s not what I strive for. Figára is something more, something deeper. It’s less “look at me,” more “this is me.”
Of course, your session can be sensual or risqué if that’s what you’re looking for. Some women wear bold lingerie and four-inch heels. Others wear power suits, cozy sweaters, or nothing at all. It’s all about what feels true to you, not what’s expected of you.

How much does this experience cost?

The session fee is $495 and is due at the time of booking to hold your date. It includes welcome materials, professional hair and makeup, a fully guided portrait session, and a private Zoom reveal. Your shoot is carefully tailored specifically for you.
Most clients invest between $2600 and $5400 on heirloom albums, matted prints that live inside a luxury folio box, or wall art — pieces designed to last a lifetime.

How long does a session last?

Plan for about three hours. That includes one hour for professional hair and makeup, followed by a two-hour guided portrait session. The session is intentionally paced. Unhurried and designed to let you settle in and unfold naturally in front of the lens.
Your private image reveal will be scheduled separately, once the proofs are prepared. Most clients describe this as a transformational photography experience. Not rushed or performative but deeply personal.

Will my photos be shared online?

Never without your explicit permission. Due to the nature of this work, I take your privacy very seriously. The only people who will ever see your images are me and the professional print lab that produces your artwork. Everything is stored locally on a private, encrypted server, and nothing is ever posted or shared without your explicit written consent. You’re always in completely in control of your images.
That said, many clients find it deeply meaningful to share some of their images, whether in a blog feature, the studio newsletter, or on the website knowing their story might resonate with and empower someone else.
This is an inclusive, body-positive photography studio rooted in trust and respect. Sharing is always your choice.
